What is the history of Aeropress?

The AeroPress device was created by Alan Adler, an engineering instructor at Stanford University. His company already produced popular sports toys including the Aerobie flying ring. Adler began focusing on inventing a coffee maker for his range when he and his wife agreed that they found coffee made using a dripper to be watery. The AeroPress was launched in 2005 and proved to be incredibly popular. AeroPress coffee makers are now enjoyed in over 60 countries worldwide.
