What is the history of Metallurgica Motta?

Metallurgica Motta was founded in Italy in 1967 and specialised in producing stainless steel articles, specifically coffee making accessories for baristas that soon garnered popularity globally. The Motta range now features diverse pieces, each exhibiting the impressive quality and outstanding design qualities for which the brand is known.

Motta is notable for producing stylish yet functional pieces and is also a brand dedicated to environmental protection. The energy used by Motta during production is supplied by a state-of-the-art photovoltaic system, which reduces carbon dioxide emissions. Steel and aluminium are recyclable materials and the team at Motta have reduced plastic use by 90%. Motta brochures are printed on FSC certified paper.
