About Toddy
The Toddy story began in 1963 when founder Todd Simpson sampled cold brew coffee in Peru. The smooth coffee was loaded with flavour and left a lasting impression on Simpson. He decided to work on replicating the cold brewing method he found in Peru and the result was the patented Toddy® Cold Brew System. The brewer garnered many fans, and the business went from strength to strength. It is now based in Colorado and Toddy cold brew systems are sold internationally. Popular with commercial operators and home brewers, Toddy cold brew systems are excellent investments.
What is cold brew coffee?
Cold brew coffee dates back centuries. The term cold brew refers to the temperature at which coffee is brewed, not that at which it is served. During the brewing process time replaces heat. Coffee beans are steeped for hours to create delicious coffee that is both smooth and bursting with flavour. It can be stored in the fridge for up to a week and can be served hot or chilled. The naturally sweet extract is diluted with water or milk to give you amazing coffee drinks.
